Adventist Church General Session

| |

The Seventh-day Adventist Church will have its once every five years convention this year in Atlanta. Adventist News Network notes that the progress of the session will be published by web, print, television, and podcast.

The Adventist News Network will take a central role in the dissemination of information about the session by producing “daily news and features” to news.adventist.org. In addition, they will “tweet” updates at twitter.com/adventistnews.

In addition, the Adventist Review will continue its role of providing a daily synopsis of the ongoing session.

In addition to the above, Adventist News Network will produce a one hour daily podcast that, according to ANN, “will will be produced by former British Broadcasting Corporation radio producer John Smith.” That podcast will be available on adventist.org.

Finally, there will be a ANN produced 30-minute daily television news show.

The Adventist church meets every five years to discuss and make decisions about the work of that denomination for the next five years.
