Secretary And Treasurer Elected At Adventist General Conference Session In Atlanta
Update: Please Note that G T Ng was elected Executive Secretary and Not Associate Secretary as previously reported.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has re-elected Robert Lemon as treasurer and G T Ng as secretary.
G T Ng is from Singapore and has served as a missionary, pastor, chaplain, health educator, and union departmental director.
Ng has a Bachelors degree, M.A., and a PhD. He is currently the secretariat liaison between the General Conference and three world divisions: Northern Asia-pacific Division, South Asia Division, and Trans-European Division. He has been elected secretary of the church.
Robert Lemon was born in Kongolo Zaire. Lemon has a BS in Business Administration and a MBA that he earned from Andrews University.
Lemon has served as associate treasurer and under-treasurer at the world church headquarters. He has also been chief accountant at Andrews University, treasurer at Alberta Conference and treasurer for Canadian Union.
Both will serve with Ted Wilson during the next five years.
