Willie And Elaine Oliver – Husband And Wife Team To Head Adventist World Church Family Ministries
Willie Oliver, PhD, was elected as Family Ministries director of the Seventh-day Adventist church at the 59th General Conference Session. Willie Oliver’s wife, Elaine Oliver, was elected as associate director for the department.Dr. Oliver promotes building a “strong marriage provides a strong foundation for a healthy family where disciples can grow and people can better witness and share the gospel of Jesus.”
The Olivers have been busy writing and teaching by founding an directing the Journey Toward Intimacy marriage retreats, From This Day Forward marriage conferences, and writings From This Day Forward column in Message magazine.
They have conducted their seminars throughout the world. Olivers have been married for 25 years and are the parents of university students, Jessica and Julian.
