Photo By Biswarup GangulyThe Seventh-day Adventist General Conference Session brings people from all over the world to Atlanta for church business.

However, they must eat, and at the Georgia World Conference Center the session is scheduled to feed 9,000 people.

It has been called the “World’s Largest Vegetarian Restaurant” as it will feed attendees of the conference. Today’s vegetarian dinner menu includes: Cucumber and Tomato Salad, Cuban Black Beans over Rice, Warm tortillas, Fresh Salsa, Roasted new potato, peppers and onions, and Apple Brown Betty

Historically Adventists have been vegetarian. In the November 2005 Edition of the National Geograhic Adventists were featured for living long lives. The article attributed this to lifestyle issues including diet.
